Technology enthusiast, Computer Science Engineer, early adopter, photographer and passionate about learning...
Once upon a time...
My passion towards photography comes from my childhood, when my father taught me the difference between taking a picture and capturing a moment in time, reflecting its soul... and how to fall in love with it.
That was the moment when he gave me a Nikon F60 camera and just told me to try.
My way to feel about technology also comes from my early life, when my mother showed me how an Amstrad computer works, allowing me to print drawings made on it in a matricial printer.
By the time, she inspired me to leave my fears away with everything related to technology by giving me a VHS recorder and asked me to open it.
Now, graduated as Computer Science Engineer by Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, I'm working in Sucuri as a web security analyst, along with some other task in project management in GoDaddy. This part of my life has represented a big change in my Knowledge field orientation, because, until this moment, I had invested a lot of time moving around development and product creation, crossing the line now to security and management.
At the same time, I find slots of time to work in my pet projects and in my personal endeavour, 20H Talent, a new way of educating new developers for all those companies that are hungry of them.
As a speaker
Recently, thanks to a friend, I'm discovering a new aspect of my personality as a speaker, talking majorly about cybersecurity and entrepreneurship.
I had been invited as speaker to several WordCamps (WordPress congress) in Spain, where I tried to sensitize a little bit about this big and important world of the digital security, especially in web environments (remember, update always! :D ). In these scenarios, I've got the opportunity to meet awesome people who helped me a lot to continuously improves my talks, and also that opened a lot of new doors, really much more than could be expected in a very first moment.
Let me drop here some of those talks which are submitted to WordPress.tv (they are in Spanish, sorry guys):
As a blogger
Well, which could be a better example of this than what you are actually reading? :)
I liked to write since I was child, so I can't express enough how I enjoy dropping my thoughts and points of view here to your consideration, guys. Anyway, if you want to read something else from me in other blogs, here you have some of them:
- Una historia de qué hacer cuándo no encuentras talento (@medium)
- WordCamp Irún 2019: ¡Me han hackeado! ¿Y ahora qué? (@GoDaddy Spain blog)
- CSI Madrid: El caso de los backdoors (@GoDaddy Spain blog)
- The Strange Case of the Malicious Favicon (@Sucuri Blog)
- Ecommerce Security – Customer Data Breaches Using Images (@Sucuri Blog)
That's more or less what conforms me, a bit of curiosity, a bit of teaching, lots of technology and lots of passion.
Oh! And I do love challenges! What would you dare me to do?
