The three recurring questions when people learn I work in web security: how do I know if my site has been hacked, what to do if it happened, and how to avoid it. We’ll go through several real examples that help an untrained eye detect anomalies as soon as possible, a checklist of countermeasures for each case, and finally some recommendations so it doesn’t happen again.
